Software Developer II

Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Software Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge drone threat intelligence platform. Using a modern stack that includes React, InertiaJS, and Laravel, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from designing intuitive user experiences to implementing and deploying new features for web and mobile. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a unique and impactful product in a rapidly evolving field. Your work will directly influence the C-UxS mission and understanding of countering the growing threat of UxS. You will interact with all teams to create and maintain best-in-class platform and APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on the frontend.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Solid experience with PHP and the Laravel framework, ideally in conjunction with InertiaJS.
• Proven experience building and deploying responsive web applications.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous data.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Graph DBs).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in the English language.
